We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Workshop Supervisor to join our Automotive On-Highway team in the Mt. Isa Workshop.
The successful Supervisor will be supporting our Local and Fleet customers operating Cummins powered equipment across On-Highway, Power Generation and Mining applications, ensuring strong customer relationships and service delivery across diverse industries.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Responsible for leading and mentoring a team of technicians and apprenticesConsulting with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth process from beginning to endEnsuring adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to the Branch LeadershipCompleting required documentationBeing a hands-on tools Supervisor from time to time
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Qualified Heavy Diesel Automotive Mechanic is preferred, but will also consider a Light Vehicle background with heavy experienceExperience working on engine products and Heavy On-Highway Vehicles e.g., Kenworth, Western StarExperience in using electronic troubleshooting systems and following defined OEM proceduresHR (Heavy Rigid License) Truck will be advantageousPrevious or demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring in a workshop environmentEffective communication and organization skillsOrganisational skills and be able to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
