Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
* Team Leadership: Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a team of business development managers.
* Communication Streamlining: Streamline communication and collaboration between sales, operations, and other departments.
* New Market Identification: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, particularly in underserved regions.
* Pricing Analysis: Analyse cost models and pricing strategies to maximise profitability.
* Customer Relationship Management: Manage key customer relationships and ensure brand protection.
* Training and Development: Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
* Sales Performance Tracking: Track and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
Requirements:
* Industry Experience: Proven experience in sales leadership within the building materials industry (high-end architectural products preferred).
* Sales Process Understanding: Strong understanding of the sales process, from lead generation to closing.
* Strategic Development: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
* Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Problem-Solving Abilities: Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* CRM Experience: Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
* Architectural Background: Architectural background (highly desirable).
* Results Orientation: Resilient, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
