Assistant Manager - Sustainability would be responsible for assisting in the planning, communicating, and finetuning of the existing donor pitch, setting up in-person/virtual meetings with donors / CSR foundations and assisting the immediate manager with the execution of fundraising initiatives. This role involves building relationships with potential donors, managing donor databases, internal coordination with project team members and coordinating fundraising events.

Responsibilities

* Use expert communication skills and a keen sense of initiative to spot fundraising opportunities using online resources and networking.
* Establishing links to potential leads for fundraising.
* Selecting key events, individuals, and/or organizations to engage with at these gatherings, and implement the fundraising strategy tactically, adjusting the strategy as needed to adapt to evolving circumstances.
* Identify and develop relationships with potential donors and strategize, successfully execute, and manage fundraising campaigns.
* Coordinate events, write grant applications and fundraising proposals, and recruit and lead volunteers, thereby honing speaking, writing, and leadership abilities while moving the organization closer to its financial goals.
* Carry out comprehensive research on individuals, corporations, and foundations interested in making donations, while effectively conveying PATH's mission, vision, and programs to prospective donors.
* Manage donor databases and keep them up-to-date, and prepare donor reports and communications.
* Collaborate with relevant teams to reach fundraising goals.

Education Qualification, Experience And Required Skills

* A master's degree in communications, business, public relations, or a related field from a reputable graduate school.
* At least 3-4 years of experience in fundraising, sales or marketing.
* Experience in creating digital fundraising campaigns and organizing fundraising events is preferred.
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Demonstrated ability to multi-task, plan events, and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
* The ideal candidate will be motivated, professional, organized and will have a knack for research.
* Excellent command over MS Office applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
* Proven ability to multi-task and collaborate work effectively with senior staff, colleagues, donors, partner organizations, stakeholders, local institutions, and others at all levels.
* Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines, and an emphasis on quality.
* Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and report writing skills.
* Excellent skills in facilitation, team building and coordination.
* The candidate must have strong verbal and written command over English.
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-site organization and in a team-based structure.
* Proven effectiveness while working in a team-based environment, but capable also of working independently.
