Job Overview
This role involves assessing and determining development and subdivision applications under relevant legislation. The ideal candidate will be a qualified engineer with subdivision and development experience, providing professional engineering advice to support Council's certifying responsibilities through inspections and evaluations.
About You
You are a self-starter with a solid understanding of the planning and legislative framework governing engineering design, construction and certification. Your strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills will enable you to work effectively with developers and Council staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess and manage development of new subdivisions and built form developments
* Conduct development and/or subdivision assessments and inspections
* Provide professional engineering advice to developers and Council staff
