This is an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our world-leading School of Psychology to support research on an ARC Linkage Project aimed at reducing ageism in healthcare. Working with project leads Professor Julie Henry, Dr. Sarah Coundouris, A/Prof. Nilufar Baghaei, Dr. Sarah Grainger, A/Prof Courtney von Hippel, Dr. Matthew Nangle, Dr. Andrew Swayne, Prof. Tanya Davison, A/Prof Lucy Burr and Dr. Daniel Schweitzer, you will have the opportunity to:
* Develop your expertise and emerging research profile in cognitive, developmental and healthcare science
* Produce high-quality research outputs and publish in reputable journals
* Present research findings at national conferences
* Participate in applications for competitive research funding
* Contribute to student supervision and researcher development
* Engage in internal service roles and activities

About You
* Completion or near completion of a PhD in a field of relevance to developmental science and cognitive function.
* An emerging profile in research, ideally in a field of relevance to gerontology and cognitive function.
* Evidence of publications in reputed refereed journals.
* Experience communicating research findings at conferences.
* Experience with recruitment of lifespan and older adult cohorts and conducting in-person testing.
* Experience with quantitative research methods.
* Well-developed communication, interpersonal and consultative skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from a multidisciplinary background.
* Evidence of an emerging network of industry liaisons and professional contacts.
