About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Selby Watson & Co' as their Office Manager. The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring the smooth running of the business.
This position is full-time, however a flexible working arrangement may be considered for the right candidate.
Our busy office will suit an organised and tech-savvy person looking to showcase their administration and leadership skills. The role is built for someone that will enjoy supporting and building relationships with the team and our loyal clients.
Responsibilities
* Managing all administrative functions including reception, accounts, job workflow, and general office organisation
* Maintaining and updating office policies and procedures
* Providing high-level client service
* Liasing with the ATO on behalf of clients and the team.
* Assisting with the coordination of staff schedules and work arrangements
* Supporting the partners and extended accounting team
* Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities

What we are looking for?
* Minimum 1-2 years of office management experience
* Prior experience in an accounting firm environment is preferred but not essential
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, accounting software, and database management is required
* Excellent time management skills and 'get it done' mindset
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Good communicator
* Positive attitude and a happy team player
* Energy, and a sense of humour
