About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our friendly and professional team. This role is the first point of contact for many of our customers and plays a critical role in delivering a positive customer experience. You will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, processing orders, and supporting internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer orders.
This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys building strong relationships, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Support
* Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.
* Provide accurate and timely information regarding products, orders, deliveries, and lead times.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
* Resolve customer issues and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Order Processing & Coordination
* Process customer orders accurately within the ERP system.
* Liaise with internal teams including production, logistics, and sales to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Monitor orders and proactively communicate with customers regarding changes or delays.
* Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
Administration & Reporting
* Support general administration tasks related to customer service activities.
* Ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Assist with reporting and other duties as required by the Customer Service or Operations team.
About You
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic professional who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service. You will bring:
Essential
* 2–5 years’ experience in a customer service or administration role.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Desirable
* Experience working with ERP or CRM systems.
* Previous experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or a medium-sized business environment.
* Confidence liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience contributing to process improvements or service enhancements.
