Program Delivery Program Delivery is accountable for the successful delivery of business outcomes from a large portfolio of projects. It contains both project delivery accountability as well as portfolio governance responsibilities to manage quality, risk, and budget to optimise outcomes from the portfolio as a whole. SAPOL is undertaking a large complex portfolio of work across a range of areas including core infrastructure, business systems and digital transformation initiatives.
This full portfolio has been broken into three sub-portfolios to deliver on the business outcomes, of which the Mobility Portfolio is one.
The Mobility Portfolio is responsible for the delivery of 2 flagship Programs; the Mobile Workforce Program (MWP), which is focused on delivering personally issued mobile devices provisioned with full frontline capability, and the Digital Workforce Program (DWP), which will rollout digital innovation across SAPOL. Together, these programs represent an enterprise multi-year technology transformation program that will usher in SAPOL’s future workplace and deliver IT solutions for next generation policing.
Your role
Stakeholder education and coordination;
Business process and data modelling;
Requirements management;
Identification and documentation of required business and system changes;
Coordination of the required solution changes including, as relevant, Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) products, custom developed solutions and other solution components (including Workflow, Reports and Interfaces);
Provision of advice to managers and project steering committees in relation to project initiatives.
In addition, the Senior Business Analyst will collaborate on the design and implementation of appropriate solutions and will assess and validate them against requirements.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Significant proven experience as a Business Analyst on major software implementation projects incorporating requirements management, business process analysis/modelling and information analysis/modelling;
Proven experience in the delivery of major software implementation projects with significant business and systems change including integration; working across the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from initial analysis through to implementation/release;
Proven experience in stakeholder management including business representatives and solution implementation teams, including facilitation of workshops;
Demonstrated high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think laterally and conceptually;
Proven ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, verbally, in writing and by means of presentations;
Demonstrated ability to organise workloads effectively in a climate of competing priorities to achieve agreed outcomes and to also work under broad direction and/or in a team environment on complex tasks.

The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.
Salary ASO7 - $108,109 - $116,864 per annum.
