Kitchen Manager – Lotus Dumpling Bar & Maggio’s Café (Sydney Domestic Airport)
We’re bringing two iconic Sydney brands – Lotus Dumpling Bar and Maggio’s Café – to Sydney Domestic Airport, and we’re looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead the way.
This is an exciting opportunity to oversee two diverse kitchens under one role, managing teams, driving food quality, and ensuring smooth operations in a quick-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of both kitchens.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
- Train, roster, and develop strong kitchen teams.
- Manage stock, ordering, and inventory.
- Maintain strict food safety and compliance standards.
- Work with Venue Managers on budgets, costs, and menu development.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager.
- Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine (dumpling bar) and or café-style menus.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor teams.
- Excellent organisation and time-management.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume environment.
