WE'RE HIRING: CAFE MANAGER – THE SOURCE
We're looking for a coffee-passionate, Cafe Manager to lead our espresso bar, The Source attached to our Glee Coffee Roastery. This is a full-time leadership role for someone who thrives in specialty coffee, hospitality, and team culture.
About the Role
As manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth running of The Source. You'll lead and inspire the team, uphold our specialty coffee standards, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience. You'll also be the key link between the cafe and our roastery HQ, ensuring operational excellence and championing our values.
What You'll Do
* Lead and manage the daily operations of The Source.
* Train, coach, and develop baristas to deliver consistently exceptional coffee and service.
* Maintain Glee's specialty coffee standards (dial-ins, puck prep, espresso recipes, filter brews).
* Manage staff, ordering, stock control etc.
* Drive sales while creating a welcoming, vibrant environment for both staff and customers.
* Uphold a positive workplace culture aligned with our values.
* Report directly to Glee's leadership team and collaborate on continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
* Leadership or management experience in hospitality.
* Strong specialty coffee knowledge and skills (espresso dial-in, filter brewing, recipe development).
* Excellent communication skills with both customers and staff.
* Organised, proactive, and confident in managing workflows and priorities.
* A people-first approach: you thrive on building team culture and mentoring others.
* Reliable, independent, and motivated to grow within the specialty coffee industry.
