A little bit about the role
Reporting to the Coordinator Statutory Planning, you will be responsible for:
Providing advice and information to assist and educate the community about development and land use proposals.
Defending Council Planning decisions at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
A little bit about you
You have a solid understanding the Planning and Environment Act, Subdivisions Act and the Planning Scheme and other associated legislation relating to land use and development.
You have well versed communication skills, with demonstrated ability to write accurate and comprehensive reports and prepare external correspondence.
Your high level problem solving, investigative and analytical skills enable you to deal with enquiries, conflicts and complaints effectively and diplomatically.
A degree in Town Planning or a relevant discipline is required.
