Overview
Photography Retoucher / Assistant role with Qantas, based in Mascot, NSW, AU. This is an entry‑level opportunity to learn on the job within Qantas’ in‑house creative team, supported by Hatch.
Responsibilities
- Assist with post production and retouching of photographs
- Interact with customers and plan/execute photoshoots at various locations as needed
- Maintain photography files in the asset management system, including metadata labeling
- Retouch all images to meet brand guidelines and design team / client standards
- Facilitate movement and distribution of files between parties and departments
- Work independently with direction to achieve objectives
Qualifications
- Proficient with photo editing software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Capture One
- Strong technical and creative skills with image compositing, color correction, extending, clipping, and file prep
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Familiarity with skilled cameras and lighting equipment
- Ability to work after hours when needed
