Business Operations Support Specialist
The role of Business Operations Support Specialist will involve working closely with Aboriginal tourism businesses in the West Kimberley region to enhance their operational capabilities, access new markets, and leverage digital solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and support in areas such as business setup, customer service, and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide advisory and practical assistance to Aboriginal tourism businesses in operational setup, customer service, and administrative processes
* Connect businesses with a network of support services, including insurance, bookkeeping, and other suppliers to ensure compliance and smooth operations
* Assist businesses in implementing and managing online reservation systems, websites, and digital tools to enhance business efficiency
* Develop marketing strategies tailored to promote cultural tourism experiences and provide guidance on social media management, digital branding, and content creation
* Facilitate introductions between businesses and potential partners, industry experts, and suppliers, and assist in organising networking events, workshops, and training sessions
* Support initiatives that create partnerships between Aboriginal tourism businesses and mainstream operators, and provide cultural awareness resources and best practices for mainstream tourism operators
Requirements:
* Proven experience in business operations, administration, and customer service
* Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including business owners, employees, and external partners
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues
