About the Role
Located across the Loddon Mallee Region, successful applicants will report to the Support Manager or Service Lead and work within the Purpose and Values of Aruma.
As part of a high-performing Youth Support Team, you will deliver a positive customer experience to young people in residential care, including those with disability, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and empowered.

Provide direct care within a residential setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing home-like environment
Promote positive family relationships and community connections
Work within a trauma-informed framework to support young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours

What You'll Need
Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care)
Mandatory Top-Up Units Residential Care (4 Modules)
Valid Australian full driver's licence
Valid Australian working rights
Willingness to complete a Child Safety and Personal Screening Check
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid and CPR qualifications
Skills & Experience
Availability to work any rostered shifts across a 24/7 roster model, including awake nights and sleepovers
Passion for supporting young people who have experienced trauma and have a disability
Resilience and commitment to trauma-informed care
