Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Maintenance Delivery Manager. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that vessels meet Class standards by effectively managing Planned Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities during Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) and MP.
This individual will be responsible for coordinating project planning and execution, managing scope and schedule, liaising with clients, and ensuring compliance with Austal Sustainment Gate process for MP.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate project planning and execution to ensure timely completion, manage scope and schedule, communicate progress to stakeholders, control schedule growth, and proactively mitigate risks.
* Manage DLM/MP activity delivery to meet client-agreed schedules and milestones, communicate HSEQ issues to all stakeholders, uphold Austal-aligned policies to maintain compliance, and lead initiatives aimed at achieving zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI).
* Oversee compliance with all class requirements for the operational condition of designated platforms, ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, and proactively manage and minimise class-related conditions.
Requirements:
* Australian Citizenship or ability to maintain security clearance
* 3-5 years' project supervisory experience within marine or construction/maintenance industry
* Strong computer literacy across Microsoft Suite
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* White Card or ability to obtain
* Experience in Primavera P6, CMMS, and/or Microsoft Project
Desirable Qualifications:
* Diploma in Marine Engineering, Marine Trade, or Project Management
* Marine platform experience
* Trade certificate
* Risk Management or Contract management experience
* Understanding of Vessel Class requirements and class processes
