Lead Field Operations Specialist
SS&C is a leading global provider of financial services and technology solutions. We are seeking an experienced Lead Field Operations Specialist to lead our technical support operations and infrastructure delivery team at our Parramatta site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support for network infrastructure and desktop systems, including installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop systems, workstations, end-user equipment, video conferencing, and network issues.
Maintaining passwords, data integrity, and file system security, as well as communicating highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel, are also key aspects of this role.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support for network infrastructure and desktop systems
* Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, and end-user equipment
* Communicate technical information to various stakeholders
* Recommend hardware and software solutions
* Participate in IT development projects
* Conduct training programs for basic and specialized applications
This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and the ability to make decisions within company policy to meet business objectives.
Requirements:
* Master's degree with 4+ years or Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of related experience
* Proven leadership experience in technical support and infrastructure delivery
* Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Ability to make decisions within company policy
