Job Title: Librarian
The TL Robertson Library at Curtin University is a vibrant hub of knowledge, providing innovative services and programs to support the university's research and student development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, responsive services to clients and stakeholders, ensuring timely issue resolution and offering expert advice on accessing relevant resources.
* Develop and maintain library collections through liaison, evaluation, and analysis, as well as managing physical materials vulnerable to damage, loss, or environmental threats.
* Manage access issues, such as licensing and copyright, while developing and maintaining procedures for assigned roles and tasks.
* Provide training to staff and clients as needed, enhancing their understanding of library systems and services.
* Contribute to policy and procedure development to improve service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Professional qualification in librarianship with associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, including teamwork and coordination.
* Ability to work flexibly, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
* Experience in providing high-quality, client-focused services.
