Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled AI researcher and engineer leader to join our Behavioural Features Team. This team brings the latest AI technology to the task of understanding an operator's behaviour.
Main Responsibilities:
* Developing proof of concept and production algorithms in Python and C++ that will continually evolve.
* Taking the technical lead on the development of one or more algorithms.
* Writing clear documentation to define features, including use cases, dataset specifications, performance targets.
* Making use of state-of-the-art machine learning techniques, including model layers such as RNN, CNN, Transformers.
* Providing guidance to embedded software engineers to deploy algorithms on specific hardware platforms.
* Assisting with business pursuit activities, evaluating our technology and fielding customer questions.
* Responding to customer-reported issues to fix problems or limitations encountered in real-world conditions.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong background in machine learning, with experience in algorithm development and deployment.
* Excellent knowledge of programming languages, particularly Python and C++.
* Familiarity with state-of-the-art machine learning techniques, including RNN, CNN, Transformers.
* Ability to provide technical guidance to team members.
* Effective communication skills, with ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
