Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot, diagnose, identify, and repair forklifts and other warehouse equipment at customer sites.
* Complete all required documentation electronically in the time frame provided.
* Keep an inventory of parts and tools; work with the Parts team to ensure you have the correct parts and documentation.
* Communicate with multiple people; provide courteous and expert customer service.
* Perform duties in a safe and timely manner.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
* Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Forklift Mechanic, with electric, IC, and Propane experience. Models include Crown, Unicarrier, Yale, Hyster, Toyota or Raymond.
* Or 3 years of Mechanic Experience such as Auto, Diesel, or Small Equipment.
* Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment is required.
* Experience repairing masts, cylinders, and transmissions.
* Ability to use voltmeters, ohm meter, and the ability to read electrical schematics required.
* You must have basic mechanics tools such as wrenches, sockets, etc. (Company will provide specialty tools, compressors, etc.)
* Hourly rate based on experience
* Valid Driver's license
* Ability to lift 50 lbs.
* Pre-employment screening & physical required
* This position will be based out of Seaford, DE
* Paid training will be in Pennsauken, NJ.
