About the role
We are seeking an experienced Barista to join our vibrant and fast-paced cafe at the Guildford general store in Guildford, Victoria. As a full-time or possibly part time Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages and providing exceptional customer service to our loyal clientele. This is a pivotal role within our close-knit team, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our established local business.
What you'll be doing
1. Preparing and serving a variety of coffee-based drinks
2. Operating and maintaining coffee equipment to ensure consistent and efficient service
3. Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to all patrons
4. Assisting with food preparation and service as needed
5. Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
6. Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
7. Assisting with Maintaining stock levels and ordering
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience as a Barista, with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and presentation
2. Ability to work independently on the coffee machine as well as in a team.
3. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating positive experiences
4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work a range of shifts including weekends and public holidays
