Finance Business Partner 6 Month Contract Potential for Permanency
Local Government Division: Hybrid role with up to 2 days working from home
ACM Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner for a 6 month contract, with real potential to move into a permanent role.
This opportunity offers flexibility, stability, and the chance to get your foot in the door with a local government division that genuinely values strong financial leadership. Once you have settled into the role, you will have the option to work from home up to two days per week.
About the Role
This is a true business partnering role, working closely with leaders across the organisation to support informed decision making and improve financial performance. You will be hands on, visible, and trusted to provide clear financial insight that supports both operational and strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver monthly management reporting, variance analysis, and budgeting support
* Partner with managers and senior stakeholders to provide meaningful financial guidance
* Contribute to annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and statutory financial reporting
* Identify and lead process improvement initiatives
* Support financial strategies that improve efficiency and accountability
About You
* Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
* Experience working as a Finance Business Partner, Senior Accountant, or similar
* Strong technical capability across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis
* Confident communicator who can explain financial information in a clear, practical way
* Commercially minded, proactive, and focused on continuous improvement
