The iconic and fabulous Wickham Hotel is on the lookout for an experienced, entertainment-focused Venue Manager to lead our vibrant team and take our venue to the next level.
We're seeking a passionate leader who thrives on building community, delivering memorable activations, fostering strong relationships with DJs and promoters, celebrating a great drag show, and developing a talented, engaged team.
As Venue Manager, you'll orchestrate the day-to-day operations of our fast-paced venue. We're in search of an individual with a proven track record in managing multi-paced venues, adept at team leadership, and skilled in cultivating and nurturing strong management teams.
**We are offering**:
- Generous Salary $100,000 - $110,000 + Super
- KPI Bonus - $44,000 P/A

**Essential requirements**:
- Minimum of 2 years of direct late-night entertainment experience
- Minimum two years of experience in a Venue Manager role
- Proven track record in event and entertainment programming
- Ability to coordinate schedules and manage performers effectively
- Budget development and oversight experience
- Knowledge of hospitality-related legislation and compliance
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop management teams.
- Experience in organizational effectiveness and implementing operations best practices.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional, ethical standards and a diverse workplace
