Hydro Excavac (part of the Southern Cross Industrial Group) are a well-established hydro excavation company with locations in Mackay and Rockhampton.
We provide non-destructive digging services to local and state government throughout Queensland.
In addition, we offer CCTV ground exploration services alongside our hydrovac operations.
As our energetic business continues to flourish, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Yard Person to join our team.
Our desired candidate will need to embrace working in an outdoor setting and be a self starter.
About the role
Re-watering trucks at end of shift
Cleaning of trucks at end of shift
Ensuring all tools are in each truck
Maintaining depot and grassed areas
Loading trucks for shifts when required including crane trucks
Cleaning filters on vac units and Water filters
Stock control (ensuring we re-order when stock is low)
Reporting any issues with trucks and or repairing minor issues.
Understand Safety and PPE requirements and be able to work safely at all times
Minimum current HR Driver's Licence
