Job Title
We are seeking a skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs aimed at upskilling our maintenance workforce.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of training principles and adult learning techniques, as well as excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our maintenance workforce.
* Ensure all training completions, attendance, assessments, and other records are accurately maintained in our training record systems.
* Consult with stakeholders to identify training needs and facilitate required training.
* Monitor and evaluate external training to ensure desired quality outcomes are achieved.
* Design and implement an apprentice training program that includes TAFE training, workshop supervised training, product training, and continuous monitoring and review.
* Demonstrate, promote, and coach supervisors on their responsibilities and practices in managing apprentices and new employees.
* Manage the upskilling of current staff to ensure they are competent to maintain all new vehicles equipped with modern technologies.

Requirements:
* Hold an industry-recognised mechanical qualification, preferable in Heavy Vehicle.
* Strong knowledge of training principles and adult learning techniques.
* Strong attention to detail, organisational, and time-management skills.
* Leadership capability, experience, and demonstrated capacity to coach others.
