About the Position
We are seeking a skilled mechanic to join our maintenance crew. As a key member, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance and ensuring the availability of heavy earthmoving equipment.
* Perform scheduled servicing, change outs and repairs as required;
* Provide diagnostic support to minimize downtime;
* Contribute towards improvements or initiatives relating to productivity and costs.
This is a permanent full-time role with a strong commitment to workplace safety, continuous improvement and technical excellence. A minimum of 3 years post-trade experience is essential, along with an Australian recognised trade completion certificate and experience with Liebherr, Hitachi and/or CAT mining equipment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Australian recognised trade completion certificate and minimum 3 years post trade experience;
* Experience with Liebherr, Hitachi and/or CAT mining equipment is essential;
* Ex-OEM experience is highly regarded;
* Working at heights and EWP tickets are required;
* Current ResHealth Medical and Standard 11 are necessary;
* Outstanding troubleshooting skills are a must.
