About the role
Join our dynamic team as a Sales Assistant at Solomons Flooring Barossa Valley in Tanunda, SA. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our leading flooring retailer. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers throughout their purchasing journey.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting customers in selecting the perfect flooring & window furnishing solutions for their needs
* Demonstrating product features and benefits to customers
* Processing sales transactions and handling cash and card payments
* Maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing showroom
* Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers both in-person, over the phone and in house
* Collaborating with the team to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience
* Occasional administration support
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in a customer-facing sales or retail role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A passion for providing outstanding customer service
* Strong product knowledge or a willingness to learn about our flooring and window furnishing products
* Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and needs
* Saturday work will be required on a rotating roster
* Must hold a current Australian Drivers License and working with Children's Certificate/Police Clearance
