We are seeking an experienced and motivated Works Supervisor to lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Infrastructure Delivery teams. In this role, you will oversee maintenance programmes and construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. You will be responsible for planning work schedules, managing resources, supervising staff and contractors, and maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering community-focused infrastructure outcomes.
You’ll find growth through:
* Coordinate and supervise daily operations of infrastructure works teams
* Deliver maintenance programmes and construction projects safely, on time, and within budget
* Source and oversee plant, labour, and materials required for project delivery
* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the public, responding to feedback and enquiries
* Assist in preparing project estimates and documentation based on plans and specifications
Ensure compliance with organisational policies, asset management strategies, and industry standards
What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you will need:
* Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision or related discipline.
* General Construction Induction card and Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan ticket.
* Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft office programs, including email.
* Ability to effectively supervise staff and contribute to staff development.
* Class C Drivers Licence.
We would also love you to have:
* Previous Local Government experience in a civil construction environment.
Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control Systems

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $88,171, to $102,468 .
