Obstetrics and Gynaecology Medical Officer
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a medical officer to contribute to the clinical management and treatment of patients within a Northern Sydney Local Health District facility or service.
The successful candidate will be involved in providing clinical consultation services across NSLHD and participating in the teaching and training of medical students, graduates, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality patient care through effective clinical management and treatment.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
* Participate in educational programs and activities, including teaching and mentoring.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Selection Criteria
* Hold a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification.
* Be currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Possess Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) or recognition as a specialist by the Medical Board of Australia.

* Exhibit sound clinical knowledge and skills in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with evidence of participation in quality assurance activities relevant to the specialty.

* Commit to ongoing education, research, quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management activities.
* Be prepared to participate in on-call services, including existing on-call rosters.
