* Participate in design of condition monitoring algorithms to detect anomalies in system functionalities.
* Collaborate with software engineering team on development of new use cases for data analytics tools used by Hitachi Rail CBTC systems worldwide.
* Analyse MRT train operational patterns and formulate changes to train operations to enable more energy efficient MRT operations.
* Use train performance simulation software and analyse performance for meeting requirements.
* Support innovation team in meeting customer requirements.
* Develop calculation models for train energy consumption using data acquired from train telemetry logs.
* Support investigation of CBTC system functionality to ensure system reliability is upheld.*
Requirements:
* Pursuing a degree in an Engineering field.
* Curious and willing to learn technical skills fast and on the fly.
* Have strong communication skills to interface with Hitachi Rail personnel around the globe.
* Basic knowledge of Python.
* (Good to have) Knowledge of software development process.
