We are looking for a passionate and hardworking **Coordinator Events** to join our team at Singleton Council. In this role, you'll make a real impact on the everyday lives of people within our community by achieving important outcomes for Singleton to grow and flourish.

**THE ROLE**
We are looking for a Coordinator Events to coordinate and facilitate a program of events and activities that encourage community participation and visitation, creating a vibrant and creative social environment.
With Qualifications in Events, Project Management or related discipline, and relevant experience, you will be responsible for the management of Council flagship events, the provision of information and support for community groups to hold their own events including the Council event process, helping community groups secure funding and the identification of potential future events and activities for the Singleton LGA. In addition you will also be responsible for the Civic Centre and provide support for both council and community functions.
Ability to work after hours and weekends to suit planned events and functions is a must.
**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Qualifications in Events, Project Management or related discipline
- Demonstrated event management experience, identifying and running a program of events
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining policy, process and templates
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated success in networking and collaborating across diverse groups with an outcome focus
**DESIRABLE CRITERIA**
- Demonstrated experience in securing sponsorship, grant funding and/or funding external programs
- Demonstrated experience working in a community environment
- Demonstrated experience in marketing and promotion
**TICKETS AND LICENCES**
- NSW Driver's licence
This position is offered on a permanent full-time basis working** **35 hours per week.
Remuneration for this position is based on 14 of the salary system which equates to a base salary between $98,309.12 - $110,585.28 per annum plus superannuation.
