**Role Summary**:
The Facility Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper and efficient management of the Midland Nursing Home residential facility, including managing several budgets, the continuous quality improvement plan and the broader service delivery operation for the facility. All of this is achieved whilst considering and following all relevant legislations, standards and internal policies. The position plays a critical role in driving positive culture, service excellence and a person-centered approach to care through the mentorship and supervision of the staff team.
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, legislations and policies.
- Overseeing the provision of personal care services, nursing care and recovery plans that are in place across the facility.
- Responsibility for overseeing the management of staff, including performance, recruitment, rostering, training and culture.
- Ensuring that the facility is operating within budget, and operating in line with funding requirements and assessments, all whilst looking for ways to optimise revenue for the facility.
- Creating a feedback-positive workplace that makes staff and residents feel valued for their input, and seeks to act on the feedback received.
**This role is located at our charming residential aged care facility in Midland and will be hired on a permanent full-time basis.**
**Skills, Attributes and Experience**:
**Key criteria includes the below**:
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Significant experience gained within management or supervisory capacities within the aged care sector.
- Familiarity with the AN-ACC funding model, and the preparedness to assist the facility through future changes to aged care funding.
- Possess or willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a valid drivers licence
