About the role
As the Member Engagement Team Lead for the NT faculty, you will lead a small, high‐performing team to deliver seamless governance, high‐quality member programs and events, and strong operational systems, enabling the faculty to operate as a reliable and high‐performing home for our members. Reporting to the State Manager, you will strengthen team capability, improve systems, and provide reliable, responsive member support. Your experience and understanding of stakeholder engagement in the NT will support the State Manager in delivering strategic outcomes.
Key responsibilities
* Provide governance support for faculty councils and committees, including documentation, compliance, and action tracking.
* Lead delivery of faculty events, programs, and activities aligned to member needs and organisational priorities.
* Manage budgets, reporting, and resource allocation with the State Manager.
* Improve operational systems, risk management, and processes to ensure efficient, consistent service delivery.
* Coach, develop, and build a resilient, agile team.
* Collaborate with peers across regions to support national consistency.
Skills and experience
* Experience in Australian general practice, primary health care, or a member association.
* Proven leadership of high‐performing teams in complex, service‐driven environments.
* Strong operational leadership across governance, budgets, and priorities.
* Track record delivering programs, events, or services (ideally in a member organisation).
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Ability to produce high‐quality written reports and submissions.
