Devilbend Farm Beer Co. is a family-owned brewery on the Mornington Peninsula, known for great beer, quality food and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
We're looking for a hands-on Venue Manager to take ownership of front-of-house operations and lead the venue day-to-day.
About the role
This is a broad, operational role combining leadership, service and business responsibility.
You'll be:
* Leading the team on the floor during service, setting the tone for standards and guest experience.
* Managing, training and developing a small-to-medium sized team (approx 15-20 staff), including rostering, performance, and day-to-day operations.
* Building a strong, reliable team culture through clear communication, support and accountability.
* Managing labour, stock and cost control (including COGS) to support overall venue performance.
* Planning and executing functions and events.
* Supporting venue communications and promotions.
* Working closely with owners on ongoing improvements.
You'll have support from ownership, but will be expected to manage your time, priorities and responsibilities independently.
This role includes weekend work and peak service times, with a stable roster and no late nights.
