Our business is continually growing and we are seeking a motivated and reliable Qualified Pastry Chef to join our experienced decorating team
About you:
* Qualified Pastry Chef
* Experience decorating cakes and slices with glazes, icings, butter-cream and edible toppings
* Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
* Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment
* Creative flair and keen interest to assist with product development
* Adhering to food hygiene procedures and safety requirements, knowledge of HACCP desirable
* Reliable and punctual team member
* Available to work 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, 4 weekdays and Sunday (No Saturdays)
* Able to work effectively in a team under pressure
* Ability to complete highly repetitive tasks, some heavy lifting is required
* Must have full Australian work rights
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the team to meet production goals
* Decorate cakes and slices, piping and finish products consistently to a high quality
* Preparing pastry fillings, measure, mix, and prepare ingredients accurately
