About the role
The MEM Senior Loader Specialist plays a key technical role within the Mobile Equipment Maintenance (MEM) team, supporting underground mining operations by ensuring the loader fleet is maintained to the highest standards. This position is central to optimizing equipment performance, safety, and reliability.
Key responsibilities include:
* Act as the technical expert for loader equipment across both production and development applications.
* Manage warranty claims and liaise with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
* Track product issues and coordinate with OEMs for resolution.
* Oversee service and check sheets, driving improvements in preventative maintenance.
* Maintain equipment health databases (e.g., Optimine, MVRS) and resolve connectivity issues.
* Coordinate safety bulletin execution and fleet downtime reviews.
* Audit defects and lead failure analysis with corrective actions.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives with operators, maintainers, and OEMs.
About you
* You're based in Parkes or ready to make the move to join a thriving mining community.
* Minimum 5 years of underground mobile maintenance experience post-trade (Plant Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic).
* Experience with SAP Work Management. Experience with Optimine and Minestar systems are desirable.
* You're organised, communicative, and committed to delivering high-quality work every time.
* Sound written and verbal communication skills.
* You hold a current Australian "C" Class Driver's Licence.

Location & Working Conditions
This is a residential role based in the Parkes region, working a consistent 7:7 roster with 12-hour shifts—giving you the balance to enjoy life outside of work while contributing to a high‐performing underground maintenance team. As part of Evolution Mining, you'll be working hands‐on with heavy mobile equipment in a well-supported environment that values safety, quality, and teamwork.
