Senior Design EngineerDue to continued growth, we are searching for a Senior Design Engineer to join our engineering team in one of our Dewsbury design offices. Reporting to the Design Team Leader, you will produce temporary works designs for excavation support, propping, formwork, and falsework.You will:Prepare temporary works designs for structural support and propping schemesCheck designs and drawings per BS5975:2024Attend client meetings and carry out site visitsReview design briefs provided by the sales team through Launchpad and provide feedback if more information is requiredManage your own workloadContribute to continuous improvement projects as agreed by the Engineering DirectorYou will have:A HND or degree in civil/structural engineeringAt least 3 years experience designing temporary worksThe ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environmentExperience of designing Formwork & FalseworkGood understanding of CDM 2015Experience utilising AutoCAD 2D and/or REVITWe would also love it if you have:Experience of checking Structural Support & ProppingExperience training and mentoring junior members of the teamExperience working for a supplier or in a commercial environmentSome experience working on siteAs our next Senior Design Engineer, you'll collaborate with sales and operations to support our customers through engineering excellence.The benefits:In return, we offer lots of great benefits including a market-leading pension, brilliant health and wellbeing schemes, and exciting opportunities to develop your skills and broaden your experience with some of the biggest names in our industry.
