ARE YOU A EXPERIENCED QUALIFIED BAKER or PASTRY COOK?
If so we would like you to join our small but great baking team (2 positions open)
Successful applicant will possess the ability to those following points:
* Able to work autonomously or as part of a team
* Able to work between store located in Caboolture and Coolum Beach
* Be punctual and reliable
* Sound knowledge of all aspects of food safety and hygiene
* Extensive experience in a fast paced environment and a willingness in supporting other members
* Be available to work a 7-day roster, day, night, early morning, or evening. Weekend and public holiday work is a must
Details of duties:
* Prepares and bakes buns, cakes, biscuits and pastry goods. Able to make all special cakes event, special birthday cake as ordered or launching new recipes for new cakes
* Glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing
* Preparing pastry fillings: cooking pie, sausage roll, pastie, making cream, icing..
* Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods
* Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products
* Operating machines which roll and mould dough
* Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
* Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
* Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times
* Operating machines which roll and mould dough and cut biscuits
* Emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment
* Managing stock, ordering stock.
Details of Skills and Qualifications required
AQF Certificate III including at least 3 years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
At least three years of relevant experience. We request the picture of your cake and pastry that you have done
All international Bakers, pastry chefs with sufficient English and qualification requirements and all criteria from Australian immigration department request for working visa are able to apply for position as well
