Data Engineering Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving value by improving how data is utilised across the business.
* Design and develop robust data objects for presentation layers to support data utilisation and reporting needs.
* Create accurate, reliable data assets for pricing, reporting, and analytics aligned to the broader data strategy.
* Buold seamless data integration and improve system interoperability through APIs.
* Automate and refine data processes for speed and scalability using experimentation and advanced AI techniques.
This is a 12-month max-term full-time role based in multiple locations across Australia. You will work with a talented team of engineers and data scientists to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering, using data to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
* Advanced knowledge of SQL, DBT, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, and AI, with expertise in building and optimising data pipelines and APIs.
* Skilled in reporting and analysis using tools such as SAS and Tableau.
* Familiarity with industry-standard tools (Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Collibra, Dataplex, Monte Carlo) and adherence to industry coding standards.
