Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Childcare Program Manager to lead our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program Management: Manage the daily operations of the OSHC program, including staff supervision and coordination.
* Program Development: Develop and implement programs that cater to the diverse needs of students, including those with additional needs.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, including the Approved Learning Framework and National Quality Standards rating system.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with school staff and the wider community to promote strong home-school partnerships and connections.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Diploma in Community Services (Children's Services): A Diploma in Community Services (Children's Services), studying to be a teacher or a qualification listed by ACECQA on the Approved Qualifications for Educators Working with Over Preschool Aged Children list is required.
* First Aid and CPR: Current First Aid and CPR, current asthma management, and anaphylaxis training are also necessary.
* Communication Skills: High level oral and written communication skills with children, families, staff, school council, and the wider community.
* Administration Skills: Demonstrated capacity to manage the work of other staff, showcasing strong administration skills and developing procedures and guidelines related to an OSHC program.
