Overview
Your next opportunity. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will participate in the day-to-day site operations, and proficient operation of both plant and mobile equipment at our Blacktown Concrete Plant.
Responsibilities
* Perform basic housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, shovelling, sweeping and hosing
* Safely operate a forklift and Front End Loader
* Assist with the batching of concrete
* Ensure a safe working environment
* Ensure Boral Policies are adhered to
* Assist the plant supervisor with any ad hoc duties
* Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolbox talks and incident reporting
What are we looking for?
* A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus
* Forklift licence and Front End Loader ticket – preferable
* Ensure a safe working environment
* Ensuring Boral Policies are adhered to
* Sound computer literacy working with multiple systems and safety reporting
