Job Title
A Structural Asset Integrity Manager is required to lead a team responsible for ensuring structural designs, calculations, and installations related to asset integrity comply with statutory and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute structural asset assessments, prioritize remediation needs, and define short- and long-term repair strategies.
* Lead a team to ensure compliance with statutory and safety requirements, apply analytical insights to enhance reliability and reduce operational risk.
* Drive continuous improvement, technical innovation, and the application of best practices in asset integrity management.
* Ensure accurate maintenance of engineering documentation and records.
* Provide expert guidance to resolve complex structural engineering issues in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering with Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status and registration on the National Engineering Register (NER) preferred. Membership with Engineers Australia required.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Asset Integrity Management Systems (AIMS), reliability principles, data-driven insights & integrity condition assessment methodologies. Working understanding with regulatory and statutory standards. Intermediate level of SAP transactional skills. Interpretation of drawings, reviewing and providing structural models, design criteria, engineering calculations and business partner data. Significant onsite experience in heavy industry in delivering asset integrity programs. Knowledge and experience with change management and power BI dashboard. Experience using analytical tools and processes that improve Asset Management performance, reliability and safety, reducing operating costs and enhancing return on assets. Ability to guide and influence with strong interpersonal skills and ability to drive performance improvement initiatives in a complex and global organization. Ability to quickly assess information to diagnose problems and opportunities, with a track record of strong professional judgment and critical thinking. Ability to communicate progress on asset integrity progress, both written and verbal, and strong project management skills. Experience promoting a strong safety culture by actively supporting safety standards and health initiatives.
