The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Mortgage & Commercial Finance Broker to join our growing Canberra presence.
This role is ideal for a broker who enjoys working across both residential and commercial lending and is confident managing deals from initial consultation through to settlement.
You’ll work closely with warm referral sources and existing clients, structuring tailored lending solutions while maintaining strong lender relationships and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Consult with clients to understand their financial objectives
* Structure and submit residential and commercial lending applications
* Assess financials, credit profiles, and supporting documentation
* Manage the end-to-end lending process
* Maintain strong relationships with lenders and referral partners
* Stay up to date with lending policy, market trends, and rate movements
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and best practice requirements
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Mortgage Broker, Commercial Banker, or Finance Broker
* Strong understanding of both residential and commercial lending products
* Confident structuring and packaging complex deals
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills
* Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness
* Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management (or willingness to complete)
