Fortify Technology is an Australian managed service provider delivering secure, reliable and people centred technology services to the real estate industry. We are growing and are looking for Onsite Support Technician in NSW, ACT and SA who can represent the Fortify brand with professionalism, clarity and technical confidence.
About the role
This role is responsible for providing ad-hoc hands on support at client locations. You will resolve end user issues, assist with device setup and maintenance, manage onsite escalations, and act as the face of Fortify for our clients. You will work closely with our remote service desk and engineering teams to ensure a smooth and consistent support experience.
Key responsibilities
* Provide onsite technical support for end users across Windows, Microsoft 365, network connectivity, printing and standard business applications
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues, user access problems, and device performance matters
* Perform new device deployments, rebuilds, imaging, updates and physical maintenance
* Assist with Microsoft 365 administration including user setup, licensing checks, password resets and common issues
* Work with the remote Fortify team to escalate problems when required
* Complete accurate and timely documentation in the service management system
* Maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders and communicate clearly about progress and outcomes
* Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to reduce repeat incidents
Required skills and experience
* Previous experience in an onsite support or field technician role
* Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft 365 and common business applications
* Experience supporting laptops, desktops, printers and basic network troubleshooting
* Ability to communicate technical concepts in a simple and calm manner
* A proactive approach to customer service and problem solving
* Current drivers licence and the ability to travel to client sites
* Australian work rights
Nice to have
* Experience with Intune, Entra ID, RMM tools or MSP environments
* Understanding of cybersecurity basics and secure device configurations
