Key Mine Operations Specialist

About the Role:
* The Key Mine Operations Specialist will form part of a specialist team delivering the RSATe Programme, acting as an Autonomous Fleet Controller using Wenco FMS and Scania Autonomous technologies to execute material movements aligned with the daily Mine Plan, ensuring seamless integration and optimal results.
* Responsibilities include operating and monitoring the mine's fleet, collaborating closely with system developers, monitoring machine health, ensuring accurate data entry, supporting and driving projects aimed at automation and operational efficiency, managing mining control-related projects, and contributing to operational contingency planning, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Requirements:
* Considerable experience in surface mining operations, with a proven track record of success in optimizing production and improving safety standards.
* Demonstrated experience working in a mine control room environment, with expertise in managing complex systems and processes.
* Hands-on experience with Wenco, Komatsu Modular/Frontrunner, or Caterpillar Minestar highly desirable, with proficiency in using these systems to drive business outcomes.
* Strong computer literacy, particularly in spreadsheets and database systems, with expertise in data analysis and visualization.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively within high-performance teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding creative solutions to complex problems, driving process improvements, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
