Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to develop comprehensive cost estimates for mechanical equipment installation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of conceptual estimating and lump sum estimating techniques, as well as experience with estimating software such as WinEst.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed material, labor, and equipment cost breakdowns.
* Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
* Develop options and recommend best value solutions based on cost, engineering, quality, or availability of materials.
* Source and evaluate supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.
