About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled clinician with experience delivering mental health interventions to young people and their families.
* Responsible for developing collaborative individual care plans and delivering brief to medium-term therapeutic interventions to young people aged 12 to 25 years and their parents and carers.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with other clinicians within the program to plan and develop services for young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns.
* Required to provide evidence-based, best practice psychological interventions, participate in clinical reviews and quality assurance processes, attend business and professional development meetings, and contribute to the development and maintenance of community partnerships.
* Participate as a member of the mental health team in providing comprehensive mental health assessment, case coordination, intervention or group work as required; with specific responsibility to provide evidence-based psychological interventions to a caseload of young people.
Requirements:
* Must have one of the following: General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, OR Social Worker with AASW registration/eligibility, OR Counsellor with Level 3 ACA registration or PACFA registration as a Clinical Member.
* Demonstrated highly competent level of knowledge and skill to undertake routine clinical practice.
* Demonstrated comprehensive level of profession-specific knowledge, expertise, and skill; with specific experience in the provision of evidence-based psychological therapies.
* Demonstrated ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team utilising comprehensive communication skills to establish effective partnerships and provide consultation to the team as well as external service providers.
* Demonstrated ability to contribute to the professional development of self and others through education, professional networking, and application of evidence-based practice.
* Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card.
* Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
