We are Zambrero, Australia's largest Mexican franchise offering healthy, fresh food while fighting world hunger. We are a quick‐service restaurant that serves tasty burritos, bowls, nachos, and tacos filled with homemade guac and other goodies. For you, that means you will always work with fresh ingredients that will not leave you smelling like you just came from work.
We also donate one meal to someone in need for every bowl or burrito bought through our Plate 4 Plate initiative.
What you'll do
* Lead the restaurant in all areas, setting the highest standard for customer experience, workplace culture, and financial results.
* Manage the team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, rostering, and resolving employee issues and grievances.
* Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard.
* Order stock from various suppliers.
* Handle office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll, and review policies.
* Compile, prepare, and maintain profit and loss statements, budgets, and cost controls related to cost of goods and labour.
* Oversee daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room, and general restaurant.
* Ensure safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and train employees in Workplace Health and Safety.
