Senior Vendor Governance Specialist
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Vendor Governance Specialist to join our team in Pyrmont-Sydney.
About the Role:
* Develop and implement enterprise vendor governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal vendor performance.
* Lead vendor onboarding, offboarding, transition planning, and due diligence processes in collaboration with sourcing, legal, and business units.
* Evaluate and manage vendor performance against contractual service levels and key performance indicators.
* Conduct regular vendor reviews and risk assessments, including operational, financial, and reputational risks.
* Coordinate with functional leaders to ensure proper contract management and delivery of desired business outcomes.
* Own vendor risk management, ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain vendor data and documentation.
* Identify opportunities to optimize vendor relationships, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
* Track and resolve vendor issues or escalations in a timely and structured manner.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience in vendor management, governance, or procurement.
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
* Ability to work with and analyze large sets of data efficiently & effectively.
* Strong understanding of third-party risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
* Experience with vendor management systems and governance tools.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
