Job Description
* Prepare and manage financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
* Oversee financial compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations.
* Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue growth.
* Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes effectively.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies.
* Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes to ensure data accuracy.
* Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business objectives within the leisure, travel, and tourism sector.
* Mentor and support junior team members in the accounting and finance department.
The Successful Applicant
* A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* CPA or CA qualification (or working towards one).
* Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation laws.
* Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
* Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.
* Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
