**Job Title:** Student Support Officer
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Student Support Officer. In this role, you will provide administrative support to students, staff, and parents, and establish communication networks within the school community.


About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. You will be responsible for assisting with administrative processes, collaborating with staff and parents, and identifying student absenteeism and truancy.

You will also assist in implementing school attendance strategies, supporting programs for individuals and groups of students, and maintaining information and record systems.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support: Provide assistance with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and correspondence.
2. Communication and Liaison: Establish and maintain communication networks within the school community, including with staff, parents, and students.
3. Attendance Strategies: Assist in implementing school attendance strategies to improve student attendance and reduce truancy.
4. Student Support: Provide support to students, including developing and implementing programs to support students at risk of disengagement.
5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student information and attendance.

Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights.

Obtain a valid Working With Children Check and consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
